Idea Makes Forcefully Use Their Network

Not sure the level customer experience Idea gives. It has been a horrifying experience. Have been trying to adjust in the Idea network from the last 10 years. However, network doesn't follow wherever you go. Call drops are quite frequent. Despite you pay your bills on time. Idea never forgets to disconnect your services.


Finally decided to switch to Vodafone network with a porting request ID 188749. Idea at its best has declined to port the number stating outstanding not cleared. Wherein the payment has been cleared on the day the bill was generated. (3-May-14).


While speaking to representatives at Idea (conversation id: C1-21827508015) Idea team mentioned that we can see that your payment has been received, but it will reflect in their system only 6 days before the due date (i.e, on 12-May-14) and before that they cannot accept any porting request as outstanding is not cleared (THINK THEY USE 1970's SYSTEMs IN THIS MODERN WORLD wherein electronic transfer takes couple of hours to make a payment and IT TAKES 10 DAYS TO REFLECT PAYMENT IN THEIR SYSTEM).


I can imagine now, how Idea earns. THEY FORCEFULLY MAKE PEOPLE USE THEIR NETWORK!


I have been requesting customer service team to find a way out so that porting request can be cleared. Standard answer "these are porting guidelines." you have to wait to all idea users.:- Even you pay to speak to a customer service person, they will ensure to only share the policies rather than helping you with a solution to your concern.


Can any educated person in the organization help me to move out of the network? Honestly pissed off, by the services offered...
