98260 - long time pending complain

This is in reference of my new Net setter connection no. 98260.


I was much exited to purchase wireless internet connection. I finally choose Idea(as the IDEAR tower is near my home) and purchase a new connection for Idea Net setter on 27th July 2009 from Idea showroom situated in front of Palasia police station Indore.


I purchase keeping in mind that, it will give me speed up to 236.8 kbps. I confirm the same with the Idea franchisee from where I purchase this connection and those guys told me that it will give you normal speed of around 180-200 kbps which was good to run online Share trading account which was my main purpose to buy this internet connection. Even they told me that most of our customers are using the connection for online trading. I paid the device cost plus the activation charges and purchased the new connection with unlimited package.


In the evening when I try to connect Idea Net setter at my home, the speed was very slow below 5 kbps. I was surprise and became upset. Next day, I went to the same Idea showroom and complain regarding the slow speed. The sales guy Mr. Shyam Atre told me that there is some major technical problem in whole network which will resolve within next 3-4 day.


I had wait for 6 days hoping that the problem will resolve but it remains the same as it was on first day. On 4th August 2009 I ask Mr. Shyam to add complain for the slow speed which he entered in Idea customer care portal. He told me that your problem will resolve within next 24 hours.


I again wait for 2 days and when problem still exists. I called Idea Net setter customer care at 4668 to check the status of the complain.


SURPRISE!


My complain has been closed without resolving it. On the same time I again called the customer care executive to log another complain which he enters & told that your problem will be resolved by tomorrow 5 PM and you will get confirmation call from our technical staff.


STRANGE!


I didn’t get any call from Idea technical staff in next 2 working days. I again called customer care to check the status of my complain.


AGAIN SURPRISE!


The second complain has also been closed without resolving the issue. WHAT THE HELL Idea customer care was doing.


This time(on 14th August 2009) I log another complain and taken the complain number – 122618499.


On 17th August 2009 I again called the customer care to check the status, I was in doubt that my complain might be closed and YES, I was correct, it has been closed without solution as previous.


HEIGHT OF PASSION!


On the same day, I again told the customer care executive(Mr. Arun) to reopen the ticket which he did by adding another complain number – 123149629.


Next day(18th August 2009), I got call from one of Idea technical person, Mr. Kirti who assure me to resolve the problem by 5 PM evening.


THE PROBLEM REMAINS AT IT WAS.


10 PM on the same day, I again check and called Mr. Kirti but he hasn’t attended his cell phone. I called at customer care and as usual, the complain has been again closed(still NO SOLUTION). This time I again get new complain number – 123377745 by customer care executive Vishal.


Next day, in morning, I called the Indore head office and talk with Miss Unnati at phone number 0731-4031414 to look into issue. She told me that you will get call back in next 1-2 hours. But as usual no call back within given time period. After 2 days, I again call Miss Unnati and she told to check the status and will revert back. On same day, Mr. Dharmedra called me to assure me that your problem will resolve by tomorrow.


NOW ANOTHER DRAMA!


On 21st August 2009, I got call from Idea biling department that your bill has been generated with due date of 3rd September 2009. After that call when I try to connect, error number 619 occur for which, I called customer care and the answer was - your GPRS services has been placed on hold until you pay the bill.


HOW DISGUSTING!


How can my service be on hold after the next day of generating bill, when the due date is after 13 days?


FINALLY, I realize that I have been cheated by Idea. In a month I rarely used service(only 185 MB data transfer) for which Rs. 958 bill has been generated, services terminated and the biggest thing is the speed problem still exists. What an IDEA sir ji!
