Idea is deducting money every now and then

This year in first week of July 2010, I got prepaid idea cellular sim in Pune. Previously


I had tata indicom in Indore and Ahmadabad. No complain with tata indicom service, no cheating.


When I shifted to Pune, did notice some network problem with tata indicom at some places. So decided to get the sim of popular service provider here, asked to friends and mobile shops.Finally settled down with idea and got it in first week of July.


Pros : Network is good, no problem of signal at most places.


Cons :


1) My plan is pay per second, but I have noticed second is going bit more, when I talk only for 2-3 seconds it will show around 6-7 seconds, so they are always charging more seconds than I talk. Did not face this problem with tata indicom.


2) Mental harassment : On 8 August 2010, idea started MahaSMS service itself and started deducting me 5Rs every day without informing me through sms or any means. I noticed deduction after a month when my balance was near 25 Rs and without even talking it was 15 with in 2 days. I enquired about this from idea customtakeouter care (12345). They told me about this service and deduction from 8 August 2010, I asked him who told you to start this service.


They started blaming me that I have sent sms to a particular number to start this service that I had not done. I got ther service stopped and asked them how to get refund. They told me refund is not possible.


Finally I wrote a complain mail to pune zonal officer ( 'appellate.mh@idea.adityabirla.com')  Sanyogeeta Kulkarni and Noella Mendes and got the refund.


But on 18 October 2010, idea again started a new service (Naya saal naya ghar) some boNolongerherea service, I do not know what is this, again started deducting 5Rs every day. I noticed it on 17 Nov after 30 days. They have deducted 150Rs from my account.


Again I enquired about this to 12345, they told me that I have started service. I told them I know your trick, I will mail this to your zonal officer, then that guy closed the service and pleaded me for not mailing to zonal officer and forwarded my call to his senior guy. That senior guy name is Prateek Chauhan.


Prateek Chauhan denied me my refund and told me do whatever you want, you will not get your money. After that I again dropped a mail to zonal officer Sanyogeeta Kulkarni and Noella Mendes at 'appellate.mh@idea.adityabirla.com' on 17 Nov 2010. Till now did not get any response or refund. This is my mail to them.

It happened with me again with-in 2 month. This time Idea started “Naya saal naya ghar” service on my mobile on 18th October 2010. I got to know about it today 17 November 2010, after rapid balance deduction past few days. I called 12345 and took the detail of this service and asked them to deactivate this service and refund my 145 Rs. customtakeouter executive transferred the call to some senior executive named Prateek Chauhan. I asked him for refund, he declined, told me that it is not possible.


I am fed up with this type of attiMr_customtakeouter. Idea is starting services itself, deducting our hard earning moneys. Why is this happening again and again? Please do something about this and please first refund me. This is my last complain about this, after this I will discontinue with idea services if they will start any services without asking me.

In 3 years of tata indicom service I never faced such issues. Here with-in 3 months I am facing such type of issues repeateadly, what a pathetic company is this. Now I am thinking to change my service provider without changing my mobile number.
