Hi,
I am sick of Idea's Customer Service and their policies.
First about the customer service:=: I have to spend about 5-7 minutes in order to be able to talk to their customer executive. They promptly ask customers to wait for 5 minutes. I am not sure what age do they live in. After that the customer care executives are least aware of their own services. Getting the GPRS service enabled was such a pain for me. I talked to 3 customer service executives and each one of them gave me a different setting. And none of them worked.
Another point is about their policy of barring outgoing calls:=: They do it abruptly without informing you prior to doing so. And when they do it, its normally the middle of night, so that you are stung the most. And unlike other service providers such as Hutch, they do not leave you with any way to contact the world. Hutch left the customers with SMS services enabled for emergencies. But not the Idea.
I will strongly recommend that anyone thinking abt taking Idea should think thrice before doing it. I am sick of it and gonna change it only after 4 months even though I have paid the rental in advance for whole 1 year.
