Network providers are better some where and some where they are worse or have no existance, idea is a quite old in this field but still they couldn't satisfy the masses.
first thing is first the network of idea is so poor in punjab, it is rare times when it connects a call in first dial otherwise 90% you have to dial again and again.
I have used idea for few months and my experience was worse, 3g service is only for name it doesn't work, it charges iln the name of 3g and provides 2g speed instead of 3g in punjab, even 2g doesn't work here properly.
idea has limited network reach, in many states it doesn't have its own network and in some states it has no existence.
it also charges for roaming, whereas other network providers have better reach and free roaming like jio.
present tariff is higher than other network providers, billings of many customers have been charged over by the services which customer has no knowledge idea is also launching tariff plans as same as jio offers but the issue is due to poor network and less reach in rural and remote areas how an idea customer will use their services.
customer care is also not supportive, to contact with them also a task, its not easy to contact them u have to be patient and keep trying again and again.
this not the network you can rely on.
