I am from Karnataka. I was a Airtel prepaid user, I switched to Idea thru MNP in the month of Feb 2011. After switching to Idea I started facing the following problems:
Lot of cross connections (atleast I had 10 cross connections when my wife called me). I had to disconnect the call and call back or wait for my wife or friends to call back. If you complain to customer care people, they will not accept that this is happening.
I subscribed for Missed Call Alerts, since I am a ported customer for them, they are not able to provide me the service. But customer care people say its working and I am actively receiving the missed call alerts. (I have been charged twice, but I havn't recd. a single alert message).
I have written to their Nodal officer 13 days ago, till now no reply from the nodal officer. Good for me to file a case in consumer court.
Ported customers don't get computerized bill. Manual bills are issued for the payments done.
Customer care is the worst in Idea when compared to any other service provider.

Tried cancelling Missed Call Alert facility by sending the code told by CC, INVAIN.
Wanted E-Bill, sent a SMS as instructed by CC, INVAIN.
Friends, I think we need to give them some time to solve the issues.
