Pathetic Idea. Its the most unprofessional company I have came across. I ported from vodafone 3 months back at Tapasvi traders, a idea store in Hadapsar, Pune. They did all the spelling mistakes in noting down my address. I wish I had filled up myself, but they did not ask me as they have to just a copy the address from electricity bill.
They copied it so wrongly that no such address exist. Instead of RH no, they noted as flat no. Not noted the phase no. There are 2 phases of our society. And moreover the society name is spelled wrongly. So not getting bills couriered. I complained 2 times to idea, they assured it would be corrected but nothing happened. Even got a reply that address can't be modified.
Finally visited the same idea store. And believe me they were behaving like bossy officers. Your address has already been verified. Whoa..the verifying person did not bother to fix up the address even after not finding my home and finally calling me for the address and then visiting my home.
The store wanted a copy of ID proof, even when I went with a new electricity bill copy. Of course I had the ID but then he showed his rudeness by saying get a copy that too like a rude boss. That set. I said should I throw away the sim card? and guess the reply. Yes throw it, why should I care. That was enough to get out from the idea store.
If you don't care about your product then? I took the bill copy, tried calling the cust care, finally got hold of the executive after 10 mins. Customer care did not ask me the name of the idea store and was willing to take up a fight with the store. "Are u near the store, can u go back to the store?" I was already 5 km away from the store. What are you idea? Goons.
Finally they are going to collect the proofs from my home, as the manager promised who could not come on the phone. This what lets to go for an international company, Indian companies are just pathetic.
