I lived for 3 months in the jalandhar area and I was using the idea sim. I was ok with the service but inside the room the network coverage was not upto the mark. I was missing calls as there was no coverage. The 2G networks was not even accessible sometimes and data pack was not working due to reason.
The bitter part was that my signal covers was completely gone with no signal bars sometimes when I needed it the most and I was really frustrated by this thing.
Then one day idea just deducted 50 rupees for no reason and when I called they said you requested for mobile ring tones. Why would I need ring tones of 50 rupees these days I was really furious but they just didn't listened and didn't refunded my money.
I had only 1 month to go back so I didn't changed the mobile operators but the ridiculous inconvenience kept happening like random offer pop ups which is really frustrating sometimes 10-15 times a day.
After such experience I cannot at all recommend it so don't go for it
