Hi. I have been using Idea Post Paid for the last three years. Though they have a pre activated GPRS Service, I rarely used it as having a broadband connect. Recently I had to use their GPRS service as my broadband connection was having some technical problem. All I did was to surf the net from my laptop for few days after going back to home from office. The max duration of browsing will be half an hour per day, but was stunned to see the charges. They were charging around Rs200+ for half an hour normal browsing- like checking mails etc.
So I decided to do some research. They were offering a plan of Rs0.02 p/KB, sounds cheap, but if you are little computer literate, will understand, how humongous it is.
As per the plan they offer @Rs.0.02/KB, actually its coming to Rs 21000/1GB (as I GB=1, 048, 576 KB). Just imagine..I am sure this is the costliest internet service on earth!!!!!!! So avoid using Idea GPRS.
