I visited Iddos few days back. The place is systematically managed, staff was nicely dressed, kitchen was clean.
We ordered sambar idli and uttappa, their presentation of food was really nice, they served idli and uttappa with three chutneys and sambar on the banana leaf. But as soon as I tasted it I got disappointed because uttappa was not properly cooked from inside, it was too sticky.
Sambar was tasting like simple daal ( not that typical Chennai style sambar according to their theme of Chennai) , only coconut chutney and idlis were good. Too costly as compared to their taste of food.
