I booked in this hotel thinking that its near a big mall...well it is near a big mall only problem is that the mall is not open...but that’s not something I want to hold against the hotel. The room is just ok. I travel a lot and I have stayed in much bigger rooms then this one for the same price. The hotel doesn't provide any hotel directory inside the room...so for anything that you need to know, you have to call...they have a very limited menu for dinner/lunch...
The bathroom is very congested and they don't provide any toiletries at all.
They have an empty minibar...not sure why it is there..But the main reason why I am writing this review is their racist attitude. Well.. I guess India is the only country where the same skin people are treated as 2nd class citizens by these type of hotels. Of course they try to keep it subtle but...can't hide the fact. I went for the breakfast in the morning...but unlucky me...I went during a time when some foreigners were also there...obviously all attention went to them.. Ordered for a dosa and waited for 10/15 minutes. In between dosas were made and served to others..not sure what was my mistake..maybe the chef didn't like my face. What was appalling is that when finally he served the dosa, I could see from the corner of my eye that he was smiling (at me/on me) which made me very uncomfortable. What I was expecting was an apology, not a meaningful smile ...
Anwyays, given an option, I will never chose this hotel ever again...
Bye bye IBIS...
