Once ITC Infotech called candidates for senior positions. Its was all for Sr. Project Manager and Program Manager positions. I went there and had to wait there for 5 hours to get into it. There were around 100 candidates being called from 10+ consultancies. They had only 1-2 panel to interview. Atleast for such a crowd, they should have 10 panels min. It was a horrible situation. I came to know from their staff that they do such interviews weekly and its a usual seen over there.
The attitude of ITC Infotech was also pathetic. ITC being such a big company should have properly planned it well. Even they didn't provide any refreshments or lunch after keeping candidates for very long hours. At the end, the interview panel were such a junior panel that the first question that would be asking is "Are you PMP certified? If not, you can leave" To know this, you don't have to call candidates for face-face and keep them wait for 5 hours!
