Yes IOL is the reason who took me here on MOUTHSHUT to express my anger towards this company.
I have subscribed for IOL broadband 5 months back. in starting my subscription was for 3 months. yes that pain started from here:
I have paid 2400 Rs. in start as advance in cluding 800 Rs. of installation by cash. as per their promise it will take one full day for creating user on server and then INTERNET connection will start immidietly, but it wasn't true after 2 days of payment I was still getting Looking up.in firefox( Net wasnt started!) then I started calling their engineers and customer care 3-4 times in day and what I heard from them " sir we havent received your registration call! " can you beleive this? I have paid 24k and yet I am not registerd till 3 days! what the F
After confirming my details with installation engineer they finally activated my connection. but my crisis haven't ended here, I paid for 3 months but befor 1 week of due date my connection was de-activated and when I called CC they said sir you due date has come it means I have used net only for 80 days instead of 90 days(3 months).
Pain still continued this month as I renewed my account, but this time I choose monthly subscription( I thought I was smart enough to tackle them, but I was wrong) I have already paid 750 Rs. on saturday 7th Nov. at that time their executive said "Your net will be started in 1 hour as its a renewal" but again NO MERCY from their side! saturday was "Network connection error" on my browser. then I called on sunday for complaint but what they said its a holiday and we cant help you out for renewal or other issues. On monday they said sir it will get activated by afternoon and guess what? That NOON havent come yet!
Today when I called regarding my complaint I am getting answer that " sir, your account has been deleted and now we have to create new account for you and it will cost you only 700 Rs. this is one time charge and non refundable!" is that a kind of JOKE? and when I asked them regarding my renewal ammount i.e. 750 Rs. they are saying its a non refundable but we can use this ammount for creating your NEW ACCOUNT. and then again I have to pay for monthly subscription!
I quit from this service provider today. I am so frustrated and hopeless. mouthshut is the only place where I can express my anger but its not worth, I lost my money suffered from temporary nervus breakdown and still I am out of my mind. we are leaving in 21st century where high speed internet is easily available though there is a large number of broadband providers in india, internet charges are reducing and each and every company is giving their 110% to customers, BUT IOL NETCOM IS THE WORST COMPANY I have ever used.
Please help me by adding your reviews and somebody please give me a link or website where I can register a compaint against IOL(some kind of consumer compaint board).
