Inox has gone from being the best to just average over the years. The surging prices without any increase in facilities or comfort is the main reason behind it.
I had been a loyal Inox visitor ten years back. It was undoubtedly the best then, giving you a royal feeling sitting in the hall and watching movies. The cheap morning show concept created a revolution, specially for students. The most empty hall of the morning shows suddenly became the most crowded hall owing to the great discount offers. Perhaps, it will be very right to say that Inox probably didn't have any competitors of its class then.
But over the years, things have definitely changed a lot. The ticket prices have gone through almost 100% hike, without any sort of increase in the facilities provided. The seats are still those old fashioned, which don't seem to be comfortable any more when compared to PVR. Still, no Gold Class facility is being provided. Neither has there been any sort of improvement in the food counters or the quality of food provided. Moreover, I personally feel that the staff service has also deteriorated over the years. Although there has been so much of technological advancement, but the quality of screen and resolutions still seem the same as before.
All in all, I have started avoiding going to Inox to watch movies, as the value for my money spent has gone missing.
