I have my car insured with Iffco-Tokio and it was time to renew my policy for which I had been getting reminders from the company since last one month.
I had been paying my premium online and when I reached their site to pay my premium this time I was surprised to see that the premium amount was more than what I paid last time despite of the fact that I've never claimed anything since last 4 years, when I bought the policy 4 years ago first time for my new car .
I then tried all the communications channels(mail, chat, helpdesk) to know why the premium has increased from last time but there were no justification provided for the same - the only thing they managed to provide was a new channel/contact of a person who never reverted back.
Frustrated with not getting a response from the representatives, I decided to renew my policy from another Insurer, which has provided me much better quote and much better service during the renewal.
If this kind of response is there while renewing the policy what we could expect from Iffco-Tokio during the claim settlement.I could expect for the worse?
This could be there policy as well to get the good premiums on the policy during initial few years and then stop supporting the customer thereafter, might be someone from Iffco-Tokio could better respond to it.
