Useful like a washing machine..though expensive. Review on IFB Zephyer EX

How it works... like a washing machine.. just you cant throw in the utensils like a you can throw clothes in a washing machine. they have to be arranged.. but soon you get an idea which of your utensils fit in where

Pros

1. FREEDOM from fighting with the maid over dirty utensils

   
   




2. You don't get a heart attack every time she says "madam kal nahi aaungi" or she bunks without information

   
   




3. gives you some much needed exercise as putting in utensils and taking them out is your job

   
   




4. an empty and clean sink always

   
   




5. Washes Glass items the best so you don't have to worry about taking out fine crockery at a party and worry the maid might break them while washing

   
   




6. Washes as well as dries utensils. Don't need an extra job of wiping them dry

   
   




7. Cleans narrow areas where scotch brite cant reach like the pipe ofmy 2 year old'smilk sipper or seives, really well.

   
   




8. it has a hot water cycle also so am satisfiied with the cleaning ofmy kid'sbottles (only 50-70degrees, not 100 degrees, won't sterelize baby bottles)

   
   

Cons

1. its costly. mine is the lowest end model. only 2 jet spray hands (3 jet hands cleans better), no dry tap indicator, no cycle finish alarm but has cost me 21000 in the army canteen.

3. I take care that I dont let any food particles inside so that the dishwaser doesnt clog and the cleaning is better

   
   

4.its better not to overload the dishwasher

2. U will take time to know which of your utensils are dishwasher safe and which are not lik wodden laddles also, flimsy plastic dabbas ( in which restaurants do home delivery of food) are not.

   
   

What I do is I keep putting utensils while cooking and after eating like we normally do. at the same time keeping using the tap like we normally do. this wets the bartan and washes off all the food particles in the sink. then before leaving the kitchen I put the bartan into the dishwasher. it stays wet the whole day inside the dishwasher. I run it only once a day when there is direct water supply.

i would suggest if you have the money... buy it.
