My first advice - if you ever buy an IFB product then keep it besides your place of worship in the house. It will be the best appliance in your house - till something goes wrong with it. After that you need a phone with a good calling plan - because , boy you have to go down on your knees and try to get it fixed by some IFB engineer.
In my case, my Senator is lying all opened up for weeks now, and I have only got promises on phone that someone will visit me. No one has, no one will - that too when the machine is in extended warranty which I paid for !!
Apart from pathetic service, there is no complaint escalation matrix. There is absolutely no communication between various departments. For example, the call center guy gave me numbers of two "senior" folks in the service department. it turned out that both of them had left the company a few months back !!
They do not have the basic courtesy to pick up their phones, let alone pay a visit to our sick machine. When they pick up the say things like - in ten minutes, tomorrow for sure, right away. I do not know whether I would get y machine fixed ever, but all I know that my Airtle bill is going to bloat up.
In short IFB products are like Amir Khan working in a Dada Kondke movie. The product might be perfect, but the service is cheap, irritating and worthless.
