I bought an IFB maxidry 550 in year 2013 and as living in PG its not possible just to hang the clothes everywhere so buying a Drier was must, also sometimes I am too busy for work and dont have time to put them terrace and also the place was nkt sufficaint .
So I bought this product and was not giving a much thought about it and started drying my clothes in it, sometimes it would take a second time but it would ruin the clothes so I didn't wanted to do it and had to put it on my chair
It was working fine for me as I also didn't had much clothes only my and my roommates, my room mate would also dry clothes but never complaint, also I was also not very much excited to buy the product but it was just doing its job
One day it suddenly it wouldn't dry clothes and would just make sounds I contacted support they said, they will come but will have to pay 250 for visit, I agreed as had no option, the repair guy came 15 days after and then just started the machine and checked it and said next time I'll come with the fixing parts and asked for 250, I said he didn't repaired anything to which he said its for the visit not for repair, I was angry as what kind of policy is it and I said I'll talk to support and wont pay but he argued and I gave him 100 to get rid of him.
I didn't wanted have the same experience so I just called local repairman and he fixed whatever the issue was for just 200 rupees . After completion of my studies we gave it to next PG residents and they only know what is the story with it.After experiancing such issue I was really not in favour that you buy these products, as support is nill and cost is very much
