Letter to IFB will explain, why?


Dear Sir,




  1. Your washing machine IFB 6KG Digital SX was purchased via invoice no. 25231 book no. 505 dated 13/10/2011 from Pankaj Electronics 9, DAV Building, Main Road, Green Park, New Delhi-110016 Phone no. 26563503, 9990791718, 9nextisbest059863, 9891318135. Total aishwaryasingh23ment amount was Rs. 28200/-




  2. On 15th October 2011 your service person( Some Mr. Rakesh Rai) came for demo and he elaborated the functions and asked us to purchase some essential items and charged Rs. 2615/- via Cash Receipt no. 16087 dated 15/10/2011 and the heading on this receipt is MAGIC Service & Marketing, IFB Company Authorized. Here point to be noted that when we opened the packing of the machine, their was water inside the machine. We asked Mr. Rai, why in new packing their is water inside, he said it comes after testing from factory so some water reside inside. WAS IT A NEW MACHINE? OR IT WAS A DAMEGED MACHINE SUPPLIED TO ME?






3.He started the washing at 40Degree and told that it will take more than 1.5 hour so he went away.




  1. After appx. 50 min. the machine started making noise like a small airplane. We just switched it off and removed the cloths inside as was instructed by Mr. Rai and called him that such huge noise coming. He promised to visit us next day.




  2. After 2 days he came and spent appx 3 hours but could not control the noice.He went away saying some senior will come and if not repairable will recommend for replacement.




  3. After 5-6 days after no of calls some other person visited and again he spent 2-3 hours but could not control the problem. He went away saying some senior will come to recommend for replacement.




  4. But no one visited their after, I called several times and every time I got a response that some one will go tomorrow, on 4th of November when I called IFB helpline no. 1860-425-5678 the person who lifted phone said their is no complain for my id 9810950651. I explained the case then he registered the complain. WHY AND HOW THE INITIAL COMPLAIN FOR DEMO WAS CLOSED BY IFB?




  5. After this new complain some one came after a week time, that too after my so many reminders and he said this is minor problem and will be solved immediately. I said the machine useless lying, take it and correct fully or replace immediately. He went away saying this problem will be solved within 1-2 days.




  6. I waited till last week and when no one came I called again to your helpline no. where some Mr. Mukesh Lifted the phone and I asked him to connect to senior most person in IFB. He connected me to some Mr. Tanmay(as per him he was based at Kolkata). I explained everything to Mr. Tanmay and he assured me that some one will visit me on Tuesday i.e. today 22/11/2011 at 10.




  7. Today till 11, no one visited then I called again to your helpline no and some Mr. Prateek lifted the phone and when I explained all then he asked me to call Ms Gitanjali who heads Delhi IFB on 30889678.




  8. I called this no. and some Ms Abha lifted the phone and she took some time to understand the facts. I told her that I am putting cloths and running it at 40 degree so as the person who will visit me should not waste time running it for hours and we wanted to see at least once a complete cycle. we started the machine as was instructed by Mr. Rai.




  9. Ms Abha told some one will visit and she will confirm the timing. The machine started washing on 40 Degree.




  10. After some time Ms Abha called and said some one will call and visit.




  11. After some time we observed that the machine stopped running with a message " Drain Error". We removed the wet cloth as per instruction of Mr. Rai and put the machine off.






Sir, We have purchased this machine for our comfort. We have a very pain full experience with IFB, so called world's best washing machine manufacturer.


Please note:




  1. The machine should be fully functional without any huge noise within 2 days or should be replaced within 2 days.




  2. A fresh demo of at least 2 full cycle must be demonstrated after repair/replacement within 2 days.




  3. The warranty will start from the date of above demo.




  4. You will aishwaryasingh23 us @ 3% per month for the total amount paid to your dealer or the service provider as the machine lying idle.




  5. If delay is occurred more than 2 days, you will be liable to aishwaryasingh23 the interest as above and the amount of Rs. 1500/- per month which we are spending for washing cloths and a compensation for my time and tension which will be Rs. 5000/- per day. Complete repair / Replacement if not done within 2 days then it will be assumed that you have accepted all point in this mail.






Further, to save our countrymen from your kind of Manufacturer who has taken granted off cheating like this by MNCs I am forwarding this mail to some electronic media and Consumer affair body to take immediate action against these anti customer practices.
