I bought IFB washing machine - ELite VX 7kg considering they have main office nearby my place in Whitefield, Bangalore. But I was wrong.
This model is wonderful, works great until it is in warranty. After that you will need to replace every major part, one by one. And also have to pay huge amount for that. I replaced washing machine's drum and now PCB board, prices of these parts are above RS.5000 plus service charges.
Further. the service is pathetic.
I registered complain and without solving issue, service center closed it. And I had to do it again:(
Next, I am following them up including Call center Manager, Service center Franchise Owner, service manager(Senthil) and technician(Naresh).Everyday they will say they will come and do replacement today and no one turned up since last 15 days
Yesterday once in blue moon, when manager Senthil picked up the call, he started shouting on me, saying - they will finish the work before 12 noon and guess what- no one came!
And I don't have guarantee that my machine will get repaired ever!
So if you are buying IFB appliances. think twice
I don't want any other person to go through this AGONY!
