Good product affected by bad service

I have been using this washing machine for ages , almost 10 years across 4 houses and different cities and have been very happy with both performance and service until last month. I had a minor problem for which I called the call centre, they were helpful and assigned the case to a local service centre called True Care at thiruvanmiyur in chennai, then started my never ending trouble.


Every other day a technician used to come, made me take an AMC changed some electrical circuits or so he said and as a result not only was my original problem remain , but he broke the door and a couple of buttons of the machine and disappeared. A couple of days another technician landed up , assured me that what the previous person did was all wrong and that it was a wear and tear problem and nothing to do with the circuit.


And also that my warranty was not necessary at all. I was shocked and so had said he will have his manager call me. That manager never called me and when I finally reached me after 4 days of trying he abused me and threatened me that he will throw my money back at me.


I had said fine to that too since us was so disgusted with this behaviour but asked him at least get my machine back in its original condition without the door and buttons broken. He screamed at me saying that he will not do that and I can speak to anyone that I care. I am totally shocked at this behaviour. And I still have a decent regard for the product but cannot digest how such service centres are allowed to function who are the anti thesis of the word service.


In any case subsequently I managed to speak to a service employee of IFB and not this shady outfit called True Care and he promised to help and sort out this issue. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Just wanted to write this to make people careful about this service center
