Please do not go for I_B washing machines for their POOOOOOOOOR service. The following happened to me:
My machine had heavy vibration. I bought this machine 2 years back. From day one it was like that. During spin it will move up to 5 feet from its current location. Many times I called and they didn’t came for service.
The funny part about I_B is they don’t have a proper office in Chennai. Also their customer care will not operate after 10:00PM. But they say that they have 24hrs cust service. I have tried many times after 11:00 but they message will come as, “all our customer care people are busy handling calls. Please wait” This is the best joke of the year. Whenever you call in the morning you get the line immediately but not in the nights.
I logged a ticket for heavy vibration on 6th Jan 2011 and till 17th no one attended. I again logged a ticket on 17th but the service man came only on 21st. The funny part is he didn’t came for the ticket I logged. But it was a ticket created automatically by the customer care people which they usually do.
They will create a ticket for general service for all the customers and the service man will come to our home. He will try to sell him I_B accessories and the Dscale powder. He will also insist us to take AMC.
Since my machine warranty was going to over by next 10 days, no service man came for service. I then filled a case and my advocate spoke with the customer care and then the person attended. But still I have the issue but no one attended it. Last week the service man came on Sunday and I thought he came to rectify the issue. But HE TRIED TO BRAINWASH ME FOR TAKING AMC
I REQUEST EVERYONE NOT TO GO FOR I_B. For all of us service is a very important one.
You all have to keep one thing in mind is that the we pay double the cost for whatever we buy in the market. My machine costs Rs.10, 984.00. But the actual cost is only Rs.6, 000.00. We never question about the MRP, WHO FIXES THIS MRP, WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT IN FIXING THE MRP.
