I have purchased this AC from high recommendation of one of our good friend Mr. Arup Acharyya, residing at Naihati, North South Pargana. He recommended that he is using the same AC model for more than 8 months now and satisfied with great cooling, prompt customer service and installation is also free.
After the purchase I have received a sms from IFB stating that my mobile no is been registered and customer care executive will call me within 24 hrs. Today morning I gave received a call from ‘+918420023250’ and first thing they informed me is that they will come for installation of the AC on 26th. When enquired, mentioned that installation is free but I shall be charged for a clamp/bracket/ screw anchors of Rs 900/-. I have referred my husband for further communication and he has requested for a visit of the installation room.
The executive identified himself as Mr. Atanu Kumar Paul serving for Ashmit Care, Srerampore, Hooghly, has strongly denied and asked that the AC can only be installed at one go only if we are ready to bear Rs 900/- for the clamps.
When asked about the other option like fitting in the terrace which is 3 meter above the IDU with the help of concrete pillar, they strongly denied that and asked that they will only come for installation if we say yes for the clamps. We also offered that we will provide an ISI standard Screw anchor/ claps for the ODU but we won’t avail the same from them, again they strongly disagreed.
When I have asked for a written communication they disagreed and announced that “they are not bothered to install the machine furthermore, whatsoever the consequences are."
