I have worst experiences with IDBI Bank with SB, DEMAT and Current Accounts. When I first went to open an SB, DEMAT and Trading account, it took close to 2 months before I got the Internet Banking and DEMAT Account. And about the trading account, I never got it.
They smartly encashed the cheque but were claiming that the Cheque has bounced! I have never seen such irresponsible and careless bankers in my Life. And later I opened a current account in Basavanagudi Branch, Bangalore. They have a daily Cash limit of Rs. 20, 000/- for current accounts!. And worse I applied for an overdraft taking so much trouble to prepare the Balance Sheet, P & L Account with the help of the CA.
The manager does not reply to the emails and very escaping response to the telephone inquiries. Only good thing about the bank is that their Internet Banking is pretty good esp Adding a New Payee happens almost instantaneously. Avoid this Bank.
