The ICICIDirect service and support sucks.
They lost my documents in floods in Mumbai in 2005. Did not inform me about the same (said they tried calling on my cellphone but it did not work...Freaks!! why can't you email me when I gave you a mailing address!??!)
Then 6 months later my account got disabled mysteriously (obviously because they couldn't get through to me, and I had no idea why?!).
Took another 6 months to get it activated, as they were not able to tell me the exact reason why my account was suspended.And here's the best part - after reactivation, including submission all the tedious forms again, 6months later I get another email, that my account is being suspended becase my documents were lost in a flood in 2005.
I wanna pull out all hair off my head.Have made several visits to the bank branch, and send customer support email, but they have not been able to trace whether I ever re-submitted my forms.What te hell - had I not resubmitted how would they have enabled my account in the first place.Stay away from ICICI Direct services.
