I submitted an Application for opening a Trading account with ICICIDirect. It took over seven weeks for the account to become operational. I got my User ID and Password after reminding them continuously via telephone, e-mail and personal visits. They refused to compensate me for the long delay which caused me lot of agony, distress and financial loss as during these days there was a bull run.
Moreover, the Staff member in the Bank Branch who handled my Application was totally ignorant. He never told me about the facilities offered and the annual charges. In fact he misguided me on many counts.
I got fed up and asked them to close the Account and refund the charges, for which they don't agree.
To which regulatory Authority should I complain. Can I file a case in the Consumer Court ?All the contact e-mail addresses on the website just do not care to respond. The replies are full of irrelevant information and just offer apologies. Does anybody know the name and contact details of the CEO?
