I bought an online life insurance policy from ICICI Pru Life (OL00031725) and paid in advance on 5th Oct. 2010. Now, after more than a month, and several follow-up emails and phone calls later, I still await confirmation from ICICI Pru Life about my life insurance policy.
I too have undergone the medical tests but nobody from their side is keen to collect the rest of the papers or any other supporting regarding my address/identity which I have kept ready for so long. Guess since they have pocketed he money, the responsibility is over!!!
My advice to all those looking to buy online iProtect insurance from ICICI Pru - please think twice - you stand to lose not just money but also your sleep.
The company is just not interested in the customers.
Imagine what would happen to our family if and when they were to deal with the same company to collect the sum assured after our death!! If this is the way they deal with the Life Insured while we are alive, what would happen to our family members once we are gone??
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ICICI PRU LIFE’’S iPROTECT PLAN ONLINE - there’’s no peace of mind after that!!
