This review is on ICICI Prudential Life Insurance which is the Largest Private Sector Life Insurance Company and the 2nd Largest among all the players. This ranking is based on both Number of Policies and Premium Received Figures.
And my Personal Experience proves that it is the best when it comes to Customer Service and in all regards be it Promptness of reply as well as Quality.
I hold two policies namely Life Time and a Retirement Plan with ICICI Pru and I started my policies in June 2004 and it has been 10 months since an association with ICICI Pru and I have not faced any problems till date.
Initially when I had called up ICICI Pru?s Customer Care and told them that I was interested in their policy the Representative the Next Day and got all the Forms Filled, the next day after that I gave him the cheques and within 3 Days I received my two Policy Documents. And I guess this is really quick levels of Service.
Their Customer Care Representatives are very courteous and have all the Information one desires in terms of accuracy and if they are unable to answer any query then they won?t fudge any data but transfer the call to a Senior Level Representative unlike other Companies where calls are kept on hold or Misleading Data is given.
I have always received the Premium Receipts within two days of my Payment. Actually I have given an Auto Debit Facility so that I am saved from the hassle of depositing Cash or Cheque each time.
As I have invested my Money in a Market Linked Insurance Plan I have the option of Investing my Money in Government Securities (Protector Plan), Equity Market (Maximiser Plan) and a Mix of Both (Balancer Plan) and I have an option of Switching my Plans four times a year without any extra charge, after the 4th Time I need to pay Rs. 100 for each Switch. I have once switched my Plan from Balancer to Maximiser and I received the Plan Switch Statement in two Days Flat.
Last week I had put in a request for a Policy Premium Statement to claim my Tax Rebates on the Policies and I again experienced ICICI Pru?s Excellent Service and received the statement in 4 Days.
I believe if anybody is planning to invest his/her money in a Private Life Insurance Company ICICI Pru is the Best bet due to their Market Position and Customer Service Quality and I am sure nobody would face any problems.
I know lots of people still have trust in LIC and they believe that ICICI Pru won?t be able to safeguard their money as it is a Private Sector Company but everybody knows LIC?s Service is Pathetic and this was the primary reason I went for ICICI Pru and not for LIC and Touchwood my Experience have been really very pleasant.
