Five years ago from now, an ICICI sales member came to our society and talked very much about one of the ICICI prudential schemes.
All the society members got fascinated by the scheme and decided to invest money in the scheme. The information given by the sales member was "if you invest 75, 000 now in this scheme, you will get double the amount that is 1, 50, 000 at the end of 5 years."
Falling pray to these so called cozy scheme, my fatger also decided to invest 1, 50, 000 Rs by taking two schemes of 75, 000 each.
After completion of 5 years when my father went to bank to take the doubled money, they said that your money has not been doubled but reduced and the current amount that you can get now is less than 75, 000. it is 70, 000 only. when enquired why we are getting less than what we invested when it is suppossed to be doubled. the person sitting there answered that this scheme depends upon the market risk that is on the stock market but when the sales person came to us for the scheme he never mentioned this point that the scheme depends on the stock market and is risky. but he duped us by telling that u get double the money invested.
If I could have invested this much money into some another scheme where I can get the assured returns, I would have got benefited. here even after 5 years I am getting less the money that I have invested. Worst experience of my life.
Never ever trust ICICI prudential sales members. My suggestion to ICICI prudential that they shoukd not give wrong information to their customers. if you continue doing this you will one day lose all your customers:(.
I will never ever use ICICI bank related any services in my life.
my suggestion to the readers also, be aware of the sales members of the ICICI prudential. dont invest your valuable money without checking the complete scheme.
