I want to share my worst experience had with the ICICI Lombard Health Insurance.
Being a loyal customer for three years, I have enrolled both my parents under this Health Policy.
Recently my father has been admitted in a Hospital for malaria treatment. I was happy that my father is treated in such a good hospital and all the charges would be covered by the ICICI Lombard insurance.
But I was shocked with the kind of treatment I got from the ICICI Lombard insurance, they literally harassed me in getting my cashless hospitalization getting approved. They rejected my claim on a single unconnected reason. My father is treated for malaria and they came to know he had diabetes earlier and I unknowingly didn't disclose the same with ICICI Lombard. (Even a non-diabetic person can get malaria).
They simply look for a single reason, however silly or minor it is, just to reject your claim.
The overall registration process happened in a telephonic call and how can you make sure you give all details correctly. There was not even a single document or signature taken from me personally. The insured persons were not even has medical test before the registration.
If you want to meet ICICI Lombard Health executive, you need to travel all the way to Hyderabad.
Imagine my father is getting treatment in ICU ward one side, and on the other side I being harassed by the type of service I was getting from ICICI Lombard.
I promised my parents, that they are safely insured. Today I failed to keep my words. I am numb today and I cant even show my face today to my parents. I need to ask my father to pay all his hospitalization bills...
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ICICI LOMBARD INSURANCE. THEY DON'T KNOW TO GIVE SERVICE IN RETURN.
