Claim reimbursement process. Review on ICICI Lombard Health Insurance

In both cases my article is going to help you alot. I have taken Casless health policy 1.8 years back from ICICI Lombard on the monthly premium of 262.00 which comes with cover up of 3 lacs. I have come into the influence of heart throbbing commitments by DSA. which are actually far ahead from ground reality.

My case is related to Non network hospitalization. and I will tell you about the process of claim reimbursement.

I have been fallen down from stairs and I had fractures in little finger. I have been treated into a non network hospital and all payments have been made by my pocket. It was very much disappointing, when I called up their number 098904 78000. They have given me one number of insurance department . When I called up that number they told me to dial direct TTK number . When I dialed that number I came to know that, this number can not be called from Mobile. I again called up 1800 425 8854 and representative told me to dial one direct landline number no.

When I dialled up that landline number I was welcomed with IVR saying that this number has been changed , I again called up that number , they have taken the conference with TTK executive, the executive told me to submit the details n

seven days after discharge.

What you have to do?

On the same day call from your mobile and ask the

representative to take the TTK guy in conference and leave a pre intimation.

Now within 3 days of incidence, tell some one to do mail to TTK for pre intimation stating that

Date of Hospitalization:

Name of hospital:

Ailment:

Approximate Date of Discharge:

Approximate Date of Claim submission:

Now relax and enjoy the hospital and pay all your bills.

Once you are discharged

download the Form no 9, Medical Certificate

Tell your hospital to fill above two documents apart from that One more certificate of treating doctor stating place, date, nature of incidence.

Now get the Xerox of

Bills of hospital

Pre treatment X-ray, serology reports,

Post treatment X-ray, serology reports

Medical prescriptions

Medical bills

Form no 9

Medical certificate

Medical certificate by treating doctor

Detailed breakup of all expenses

Send all these originals to

TTK Healthcare TPA Pvt Ltd.,

And pray to god that these guys shouldn’t send you any letter of shortfall of documents.

Now check some definitions of TTK

Hospital:

Any hospital which is registered and minimum have 15 beds and round the clock doctor and nurse facility.

I haven’t received the claim amount yet, as my case came into the shortfall of documents.
