I am having the most harrowing time for the past one year as I did the mistake of answering a call from one of their executive. I was in a meet when the call came and she tried to explain the policy and that it would be charged on my credit card. I said I was in a meet and could not decide as she wanted an instant yes. She said they will send the papers in a weeks time and then if I would not like to take it I could refuse. The papers did not arrive and I forgot all about it.
I realised after a few months that I was being charged some EMI on my credit card. I called up to find out and to my utter shock realised that I was being billed for the insurance. I said I have not received any papers and this was cheating and want all charges to be reversed. They said ok. THEN AFTER A WEEK I RECEIVE ALL THE PAPERS BY COURIER. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. I call up again and ask them what are they upto? The next statement comes with cancellation charges. Again I call up to clarify that I had not applied for the policy and to reverse all charges.
I am still calling as they are leveling all interest charges and the amount is mounting. No one has been able to help me in this matter. All attempts have failed to resolve this issue. Can someone help?
