21 March around 8:30 PM, I met with a road accident. Bumper and the left headlight had broken.
I registered my claim by calling ICICI support number and got claim number MOT06453126. Next day, I visited Joshi Hyundai Mohali to get my car repaired. They prepared all their documents and asked to get my car day after tomorrow. They told me pricing as follow because I had the normal policy.
For all the plastic thing I will have to pay for 50%.
for any painting I will have to 20%.
Today, I received their call and supervisor was saying that ICICI Lam board surveyor is saying that I would have to pay 50% for painting as well because bumper had some scratch on it already when I bought the policy. But refusing to show me proof.
So, I would suggest everybody doesn't buy their car insurance policy at all else they gonna kick your as* when you need claims. If you cannot get the claim as promised then why you need to buy insurance policy?
