I had forgotten that my car insurance had expired and remembered the same at 9.00 pm one night. I was angry at myself for not being careful and my previous insurance provider(reliance Insurance) for not sending a reminder letter. Then I remembered the advt of ICICI Lombard and thought of trying it out. I logged on and got the insurance paperwork done easily through their user friendly website.
But as there was a gap after the insurance expired, there was to be a car inspection by their surveyor. Very early in the morning we were surprised to receive SMSes regarding their toll free no, business card of their surveyor etc. At around 11 AM, I received a call enquiring the location of the car. At 1.30 pm the car was inspected by their surveyor and by 4.00 pm we received a call that the insurance was done and papers sent to the website. So all work was done without going anywhere. It all felt nice.
I do not know about their service once we face any problem later on and I pray to God that I wont require it. But I liked the experience while buying the insurance, enough to write the first review in my life.
