ICICI Bank will offer you cheapest home loan for floating customers. Once you have taken a floating loan you just fall into their trap. Soon you will realise you are paying maximum interest rates in the Industry.
I took a Floating home loan Nov 2004 at 7% interest, the lowest in the industry & today I am paying the highest in the industry. I am sure there are thousands if not lacs of customers who are sufferer at the hands of ICICI Bank. This bank left no oppurtunity to increase interest rates whenever there is a hike in CRR or Repo Rate etc. But in the recent past when RBI has reduced CRR, REPO Rate they have not reduced rates. They had reduced but for new customers not for existing customers.
Also they will increase your terms or reduce your EMI without informing you. If you ask them why they have increase Terms or reduce EMI without informing you, they will inform that they are authorised to do so. such is their customer service.
So pls donot take any home loans - floating from ICICI bank.
