My BIL is a customer of ICICI Bank (Home loans Division) and has availed a Home Loan for 2 of his properties a couple of months ago.. As per the normal procedure ICICI has taken into its custody all the relevant property documents in originals including the Registered Sale deed as collateral. What is SHOCKING is ICICI bank is outrightly DENYING to give any acknowledgement or a proof of record for having collected his property documents in original.

The bank officials including the Managers state that it is not a POLICY at ICICI BANK to give any acknoweledgement on its letter head or as an official document...but the list of documents would only be listed on a plain sheet of paper in the HOME LOAN DOCUMENT(without a seal or sign) Astonishing!!!!!!!! isnt it??? My request to members: 1. If anyone of you are a ICICI Bank home loan customer..pls advice if you have managed to get a formal ack. on its letter head....assuming you were lucky.. 2. If you havent recd. a formal ack., Pls note that all you would have is a list of documents mentioned on a plain sheet of paper in the HOME LOAN DOCUMENT under the Schedules heading - Page 24 (without a seal or a sign)...which is of no value absolutely..

You may want to join hands so that we could collectively protest and get what we deserve while we educate the remaining mass..
