ICICI bank is Fraud. Review on ICICI Bank

I’m an ICICI bank customer for about 4years now, all was fine until May 2008 when the trouble started and its not resolved till now. I’m still fighting with the bank to release(defreeze) my account which has about 58k in it. It all started in May when I started getting mail from bank telling that loan has been approved against my account and DD posted, within a span of 15 days I got 3 to 4 such mail stating different amounts like Rs. 386000/-, Rs 400000/- Rs 80000/- and so on. when I contacted customer service I was told that DD's have been dispatched, when I said I never asked for loan and I have never called bank requesting the loan there was no proper responce, I had to raise lots of complaints to get them canceled, and I was even provided the service request numbers which are as follows SR69198627, SR70909587, SR71591735, SR71589679, SR6840430, SR90003642 I don’t even remember now which SR number belongs to which loan amount. after numerous class and mails finally I got a mail from bank stating that loan is cancelled, I was relaxed and happy that im out of the mess and continuing with life but suddenly on December 13th 2008 I observed that my savings account is freezed, when I called bank customer service and enquired they told me that I have defaulted the personal loan of Rs. 386000/- hence they have freezed my account, but the fact is I have NOT taken the loan and NEVER requested for one and most important point is I'm in United Kingdom since 5th April 2008 and the bank claims that I have accepted the Loan DD personally at my Bangalore address on 18th May 2008.

ICICI customer care(CC) is not very help, their representatives behave very badly and even disconnect the calls before the conversation is complete. At ICICI bank website customers have an option to complaint to higher officials if the issues are not resolved through CC. Using this option I have raised the issue with 2nd and 3rd level officials. Unfortunately 2nd level officially also did not verify the problem in details and ruled in favor of bank. Now I have raised a complaint with 3rd level officials but here also I’m not seeing any positive signs of issue being resolved. For every mail I send they tell me that they will get back in a week or 2, but after the time period I get one more mail telling they need another week or 2 to investigate. Expect this there is nothing happening its been 8 to 9 months now I’m struggling with ICICI bank and even today I wont see any sign of resolving the issue. They don’t have any proper channel where in we can talk and explain the problem all I have to do is send a mail and wait at their mercy hoping i'll get some reply. During all this period I have lost huge amount of money in calling from International destinations and freezing my account is effecting me very badly, I have my own commitments like every month I need to pay my EMI against the housing loan I have taken and I was suppose to pay LIC premium during the month of December which I could not pay and I have demat account linked to my saving account which I’m unable to use since my account is freezed. now I need to pay fine for late payments for my LIC and Housing loan.

Even today this is issue is not resolved yet, today I got a mail from headservicequality@icicibank.com stating that they need another 45 days to resolve this and until then my account will be freezed. It’s so pathetic in this technology world they need nearly about 1yr to find out to whom they gave the loan and its deposited into which bank. I believe its an internal fraud or else how is it possible that an someone else can take loan on my name, how is it possible for that guy to know my personal details.
