I have a salary account with ICICI. On 25th July, 2005, my ATM card got stuck in the ATM machine. I informed about it to ICICI on the same day. I was told that, a complaint can be launched only after 5 working days.
I waited for 5 working days, after that I launched a formal complaint. I was told that the ATM card will be delivered to me by courier.
I waited till 5th of August without any response. After that I was told that I will have to raise a request for new ATM card. I did the same on that very day. Again I waited for a week and called back ICICI on 12th August. I was told that the card has already been dispatched and I will receive it soon.
I waited till 22nd August and then raised a compalint about it. Even after following up number of times with ICICI I was getting the same answer that I will receive the card soon.
Today is 24th of August, it is almost a month since I have lost my ATM card and still I haven't received the new card.
I have also written to customer care and Manager of ICICI, but I haven't received any encouraging response from them.
I think ICICI doesn't care about what their customers are going thorugh.
I can't imagine a person having an emergency and if he/she gets into such a situation.
I have lost all my hopes with ICICI and I think I should switch to some other bank.Henceforth, I will not advice any one to have any relationship with ICICI.
