ICICI Bank. Review on ICICI Bank

I do not have a Bank Account with ICICI Bank precisely because it is a Private Bank. I have always believed that the Public Sector Banks are safer than private banks. I never even had a Credit Card of this Bank as I had been using a credit card since 1997 when ICICI Bank perhaps had not come into being.

It happened only recently when my daughter joined one of the Navratnas and she was made to open an account in ICICI Bank, NOIDA where her salary is credited every month. It informed that we can see the account/transactions online. When I visited the website of the Bank I was surprised to see how one can use the Bank through a computer - you can transfer your money to any other account in India, you can use the debit card as we used credit card, we could pay bills online, etc. I just wondered how fast these Banks have grown in size also. You find ATMs of ICICI Bank at every corner in the city. Its very useful bank.

But a Banker is a businessman too and is profit oriented. But the best thing is that it distrtibutes its profits back to us through easy loans.
