I used to be icici bank account holder but there is no proud in it just trouble. After being a private bank they work more like gov banks and change policies according to there convinient.
There is list of trouble I faced from icici
My minimum account balance changed from 1000 to 5000 without any information.
My debit card charges increased from 112 to 280 without any information.
When I want to close there account they asked for closing fee.
There charge you for promotional massages which have nothing to do with you. Its there advertising and we are paying for it.
I visited bank many a times to stop sms service but they wont listen and asked me to contact customer service who denies me as there account holder of icici bank.
The list is enough to give he lots headache. I herd good about icici from people but I think they are just the lucky ones. I was in college that time and I have other important things to do then visit bank after every weeks. I wont suggest any student to look icici bank as a good option go for other local banks.
Finally when bank denied to help me even customer care dont bother about my problem I stop using icici bank and look for other option and I found UCO bank its gov but more reliable then icici.
