ICICI is a well known name in the banking world, its a private sector bank but very few people know that the investment range is so dynamic that even government also supports it.
My dad has an account in ICICI and here is my review about it.
ICICI banks are everywhere and in every city so no problem regarding atm booths.
Savings rate are attractive, however loan rates are not that good.
My dad did not had any problem regarding online services, net banking, payments were good.
Cheque clearance is also fast.
Branch staff is good and they behave properly unlike some government banks
However ICICI has some annoying charges like carsless deposit, heavy transaction fees compared to government banks etc.
But still a very good bank. Go for it.
