My experience with icici bank is so worst that I feel like going in court against this bank. I have salary account with ICICI for almost 3 yrs. I wanted a certificate saying my salary gets credited into ICICI bank by my company (Company name was required).....now it just show sal credited not the company name.
I went to branch office to know the procedure to get certificate. First of all the expression was as if I m asking for balance in someone else account....100 times they asked me what r u asking for why u need it.........and finally no we don't give anything like this. When I told them other bank show this in their online statment itselt and why is it that they cannot give it........there was no proper answer to it.....that lady told me to talk to branch manager.
Second experience worst than first one........I went to branch mgr god knows who appointed him as mgr.......he gave me 100 options to get that from my company.......I told him I know all these ways but can you give me this letter he said no we cannot tell with which company ur working u might change ur job in between. I was shock to hear that I asked him if he know from whom he is receiving my salary check he said I know ....then where this question comes in that I don't know for which company ur working? No answer for all these question only answer he gave.........we cannot give u any letter. Finally my HR send him a letter asking to issue this certificate almost 8 days back but till now I have got no reply from them.
One more incidence I know about is if you have lakh rs in ur account and u don't operate that account for 1 yr they will block ur account without informing u. and when we asked what if I get died will my family get this money the answer was no ...shocking
I will be writing my experience with this bank's home loan also.
My suggestion not to have any saving account with this bank.
