Quite Frustrated With The Service. Review on ICICI Bank

In the month of February 2016, an executive from ICICI bank, Bhubaneswar, came to me and offered a personal loan. I already had a personal loan running in this bank and asked him if I can enhance the loan. He promised to get it done and then I agreed to it. On 6th February, I signed in the application form. I was promised that within 3 working days, the loan would be disbursed. Then in course of time, some issues were found in my CIBIL report which were resolved in two days' time.

Then the executive promised me that two or three more days would be required for the approval to come. It stretched till 25th of February. Then I received an Email from ICICI bank that due to some reasons the loan request is declined since I asked for enhancing the loan from 9 lacs to 15 lacs. Then I called the executive and informed him regarding this. He told that it was an auto generated Email and he assured me that the approval would come soon.

Then I kept on calling him till 1st of March 2016 and he kept on ignoring my call and did not answer. Then I called the loan manager directly and asked about the status and I was told that the loan request was declined for some reasons. Even two days after that the executive has not called me yet. I am not only frustrated with this incident and lost complete faith in this bank. It was absolutely a disgusting incident. They took complete 25 days to take a decision whereas the executive promised to do it in three working days. Such people are not professional absolutely.
