Here's a so-called'banking service', where they hardly ever serve you. It's one of the most difficult experiences till date that I've had with ICICI bank. Be it an account opening, a credit card application or credit card bill payment, it has always been a nightmare with the terrible customer service that they provide.
First of all, its sheer luck if you ever, and I mean, ever, you get the privilege to talk to one of their Customer Service Executives. The numbers fail to connect, and when they do, they'll address you in a way that will make you regret your attempt to talk to them. Yes, they're that rude.
Coming to their website, I really wonder who does the maintenance. Most of the times, it takes me ages, just to view a mini statement of my account And yes, the way the website is designed is pretty confusing. Given the kind of competition in the banking sector from the likes of Axis, Citibank ad HDFC in terms of customer service and speedy resolutions, I really hope the ICICI guys would go ahead and address these concerns if they really want to stay in the business for long.
