ICICI is very good if it comes to marketing their products.. Once you become their customer, they treat you like dirt. Govt offices are better in treating you than the ICICI bank people
Visiting a branch
Visit their Thane branch.. the customer reps will not even lift their head while talking to you. They will be shuffling some of their papers and simultaneously talk to you.. If they offer you to be seated.. its your good luck.
If you inquire about an issue, their reply will not be to the point.. but you will be asked questions like which branch do you have your account with
Calling the customer helpline numbers
Your decision to call them is a waste of your money and time.. The customer reps are uneducated and do not know anything about banking. The only thing you hear from them is that your complaint is recorded. You get the complaint number only when you ask for.
Their is no guarantee that your work will be done.. It took me one year to get my address changed in their system. Though they used to confirm my address change, I used to get correspondence in my old address.
ICICI executives vising youTheir executives do not have basic dressing and language skills. Their clothes are dirty and the best way to converse with them is the local language. You will have to catch one of your neighbours to converse with them. These executives will try to convince you to sign blank forms saying that they will fill the form themselves.. If you have any queries, they will use your phone to talk to their immediate supervisors and get things clarified from themselves. At the end of their visit, you will start cursing yourself for the appointment granted
