Let me tell you all my experience with ICICI credit card division. When I first got the credit card about a year back, I was clearly told that all the renewal fee has been waived off as my sister is also a card holder. But after one year, they have infact charged me a renewal fee.
When I called up the great customer care to find out why, they tell me no such deal was made and of course the sales person who made the promises is nowhere to be found. Probably joined another company when he realised he is out of quota of fools in this particular line. When I argued and spoke to his supervisor he tells me that it is subject to the turnover in the year. Now this was not ever told to me before.
Not only that there have been cases when the bill shows double payment even if the card has been swiped only once. It happened when I visited a clinic in Bangalore for my hair and skin treatment. Even though I paid Rs 4000 only, in the bill it should two enteries of 4000 each. Finally the charge was reversed back after I fought with them for almost one month.Overall there experience has been quite negative and bad.
