I only got the salary account of ICICI and that too wasnt activated for a whole month after they took my details time and again. I received the ATM its pin and internet banking and a hell lot of more paperwork on
the same day itself. then started their process. the guy who had come to collect the documents and also who was incharge of supervising the filling of forms and collection of photo id and address proof had
little knowledge of english and no knowledge of hindi. he only spoke kannada and I had a bad time explaining him evrything. then while fillling up the form they asked for permanent address which I gave of
dehradun as its my native.
After 7 days I inquired for the account they just said it has not been
activated and you must have not submitted the proper docs. I obeyed and went to the bank to submit them they refused to take them sayin a representative will come and collect them, again I waited for three days then wen a guy came he started the bullshit about fillin form properly, after tht I chked wid dem again after 5 days .
no response....
waited ..........
waited........
then I get a call from ICICI It was as usual " you want insurance" call I told dem tht account was not activated how can u offer me services
to tht they say we can give insurance loans etc widout activation.. great reply left me speechless
After a few days I i left my company so called dem up and said I dont want to continue the account.
the idot on the other side started to talk about the home loan scheme.
Still I keep gettting calls from dem.
whereas UTI bank in my new company opened my account in 4 days with
same credential and they dont even call up for useless offers.
