Excellent customer service. Review on ICICI Bank Visa Credit Card

To start with, I am surprised that ICICI credit card has just a 2 star rating on mouthshut!

I own Icici Gold card from last two years. When I opted for this card Icici was the only card offering free for 3 years. All other banks were offering it for just for 1 year. All though now I have 4 credit cards (all life time free), I use just Icici primarily because of it hassle free customer service. Now all their cards are lifetime free.

There were many instances where I had to get in touch with the customer service sometimes bcoz of my mistakes and sometimes bcoz of ICICI's, but all the time the service was prompt and the error rectified.

For example once when I made an online payment on a shopping website, I got an error message on shopping website. Very boldly I made payment on the website once again. Later 2 payments were listed in my statement. Please note that it was not icici website but a 3rd party website. But I explained this to Customer service, they got in touch with Shopping website, and got my 2nd payment reverted.

As far as payments are concerned I have just linked it to my banking account where the amount is directly debited. 10 days before payment date customers are sent reminder SMS for their payments and once the payment is done from the bank account and confirmation message is sent. Can it be more convenient than this??

Yup, dont forget to keep a track of ur credit card statement. Once I was charged 20 Rs surcharge for fuel which should not have been done. Just one call and they credited the money to my account in the next statement.
