ICICI is the bank to go with, I should say. I have been holding ICICI card for the past 4 years and am really pleased with them.
I had been a silver card holder initially and now a gold card holder. ICICI understands the pulse of the customer. ICICI seems to always try and find ways to improve the services unlike some of the foreign bank's credit card (I also hold ABN AMRO card - sorry to say).
It is not without problems but ICICI always has means to resolve the problem to retain the customer unlike the foreign banks who just don't care.
The service provided by foreign banks being in the industry for decades together, you tend to think will be customer friendly and all that crap that you hear about after visiting abroad, but it is just the other way around. It is as if the foreign banks take the Indian customers so easily and they think that anything chalta hai with the Indian public. I am not sure if RBI has certain regulations for the foreign banks to have certain high level of performance to operate in India.
It would be good if ICICI could be accepted in all the petrol stations without any service charge/surcharge.
Other than that, Kudos ICICI. Keep up the good work.
