Using the card facility for at least 8-9 years. The live ones are platinum card and a companion card. Rest are not used. Generally I pay the recurring bills(phones), fuel for car, online transactions and the major purchases through the card. I also have savings account in the bank to which I used to transfer my salary(it was having quantum optima then) but now it is my salary account. The two are linked and I did not face any problem so far. Ofcourse I keep a tab on the transactions often to make sure there is no fraud.
Once the purse was pick pocketed, which I reported within 2-3 hrs. They stopped the cards with retrospective effect and sent out new cards withing a few days.
Good part is that the cards are acceptable in all places both nationally and internationally. There are quite attractive features like lounge services and discounts but I have not yet used those facilities.
Ofcourse our expectations are high in this competitive market and we always look out for better service and better deals. Balance between loyalty and better deals are required to have more say on the dealings.
I am sure, keeping it simple, timely payment(better make it ECS - anyway you can check fraud online) and planning for monthly limit will help manage the credit cards better
